FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I get the course funded by Student Finance?

No, we do not work with Student Finance due to the high costs for us as a training provider, which we would have to pass on to students.  This would be unfair on those paying for the courses themselves.  We do offer monthly instalments which are interest free, to help spread the costs.

Why are you courses cheaper than comparitive courses?

We are a not-for-profit training provider, and so we can keep our fees to the miminum required to run each course.  We do not employ sales teams, nor do we pay commissions.

Do I need any other qualifications to start your course?

No, whilst you do not need any other qualifications, there is a great deal of coursework, and so you do need a good understanding of the English language, both written and spoken.

Are there any live sessions?

This is a self-study course, and does not include live teaching sessions.   We offer live teaching sessions on our level 5 and 6 courses.

Can I fail the course?

Students who do not complete the course usually do so because they have not been fully involved with it.  If any of our students struggle we offer as much support as is necessary.   Whilst the pass rate is very high, it is not a pay and pass course.

What can I do when I have completed the course?

Once you have received your certification, you can register with one of our listed accrediting bodies, obtain insurance, and start practising.  You can apply to join our Alumni (free of charge) and we can give you support in setting up your pracice, or direct you to vacancies.

Will I be a Nutritional Therapist after this course?

No, whilst you will be able to give nutritional advice, help with meal plans, and support clients nutritional needs, you cannot use food/nutrition to treat illness or disease, as you would need to do level 6 for this.
